Event Details

The reality of women, motherhood and the wild is the common thread of this programme within the 27th season of the Chamber Orchestra of the Zaragoza Auditorium – Enigma Group (Spain). In Medea, Iannis Xenakis composed a fascinating score that the OCAZEnigma will present along with the Valencian performer, a specialist in explosives, Carlos Llavata. About the myth and syndrome of Medea, the program includes an extract from one of María Ruido’s most radical films: Mater Amatísima.

The concert will open with a premiere by the Mexican composer Mario Duarte, a work inspired by the current situation of Mexican women through the myth of the Aztec deity Coatlicue, murdered by her 400 children.
