This virtual homage to Iannis Xenakis is a commission by the Xenakis Project of the Americas to the great New York-based violinist Conrad Harris and to the super-talented Yin Yu, currently a doctoral candidate at the UCSB. Conrad’s live (unedited!) performance of Xenakis’s Mikka and Mikka S are visually interpreted here by Yin’s personal and proprietary visual implementations. Not to be missed: “music to be seen”, as Xenakis would himself say.
