The CEPROMUSIC commemorates the work of Iannis Xenakis on the centenary of his birth. In this concert, the Cepromusic Ensemble brings the listeners a sample of the musical proposal of one of the most important composers of the 20th century, who proposed a transforming aesthetic of compositional thought and musical technique that has permeated to this day.

The Center of Experimentation and Production of Contemporary Music (CEPROMUSIC), created in 2012, is a space where artistic and academic activities converge in favor of the creation and promotion of contemporary music in Mexico. In addition to its regular season at Mexico-City’s Fine Arts Palace, CEPROMUSIC Ensemble has participated in residences along Latin America, the United States, Europe and collaborates on a regular basis with other disciplines.
